Residents witnessed giant hailstones as large as 7 centimeters in certain regions. Weather authorities announced that different parts across Queensland had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

Simultaneously, around one thousand energy customers in Victoria also faced energy failures after the metropolitan area experienced its heaviest rainfall in over 500 days.
Rescue organizations handled over five hundred requests for assistance across the area, primarily for structural issues but also for fallen timber and inundation.

Meteorological Predictions
Damp conditions were predicted to continue along large portions of Queensland's east this coming days as a weather pattern continued to pull in damp air against the coast.
The following day was expected to become the wettest day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential expected across multiple regions of both areas.
