Yet the latest Battlefield is aiming to change that.

This is the latest entry in a established combat FPS series often positioned as a more realistic response to Call of Duty.

The title has seldom managed to equal its most famous competitor in terms of units sold or gamers, but there are signs the latest version could close the gap.

An early access session giving users a shot to test the game not long ago broke records, and the hype heading into its release has been immense.

However the endeavor is nevertheless a major risk for developer Electronic Arts, which has according to sources invested hundreds of millions of funds producing it.

Reporters have talked to a number of the developers to discover how they aim it will be profitable.

Young Talent Contributes New Perspective

This is certainly true of at least an individual developer, lighting artist Vlad.

The 21-year-old makes the lighting elements that define the atmosphere, style, and direction of the single-player campaign.

The artist finished an training period at Criterion preceding obtaining a role there, and now operates with reduced hours while finishing his digital arts studies at Bournemouth University.
